Job Requirements
Job Description:
As a Project Manager will leverage their strong organizational and technical skills in the context of the software development project lifecycle to deliver complex changes on time and budget. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects for hospitals or health insurance companies and be familiar with concepts and processes from both the healthcare and software industries.

Responsibilities

• Manages aspects of project delivery
• Capable of leading small to medium components of project scope
• Manages project financials including P&L providing reliable forecasts to management as needed
• Provides reliable status reporting to management
• Provides support for the appropriate management of actions items, decisions, risks, and issues,
• ensuring the teams completes and/or resolves efficiently
• Responsible for adherence to the Gainwell standards, templates, and integration processes-- Manages client relationships for assigned projects
• Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients
• Manages project team of internal and external resources with a team size of fewer than 20 people
• Encourages skill development of project team members
• Provides performance feedback for team members
• Works directly with Project Management Office Manager

Knowledge and Skills

• Familiar with the Project Management Institute methodologies and approaches as outlined in the PMBOK 6th edition
• Understands healthcare delivery or health insurance management
• Experience with risk and issue management and development change management processes
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of project support, client relations, IT industry, accounting, and time recording/effort tracking
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of project management methods and tools including MS Office and MS Project
• Demonstrates the ability to build trusting relationships with internal team members and external client representatives
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 - 10 years' experience in project management or in like roles/businesses
