CAI is seeking a mid-level Programmer Analyst. This is a ONSITE opportunity. Our client is based in San Bernardino, CA

Weare seeking a highly motivated Programmer Analyst. San Bernardino County's Innovation and Technology Department is seeking a Programmer Analyst (PA) whose role is to serve as an expert in the migration of Applications from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2019.

A successful candidate in this role will execute an existing migration plan, identify and resolve any technical problems, document procedures and provide status updates. The contractor will engage with internal ITD staff and may need to engage with customers. The successful candidate will be one who utilizes technical skills, communication skills and sound judgment to complete application migration, testing and promote user adoption of migrated applications.

Conditions of Employment:

• LiveScan/Finger Printing: All candidates are required to complete their LiveScan in San Bernardino County. Out of state or out of county LiveScan results will not be permitted.

• Daily Work Schedule: This position is full-time, on-site at our office in San Bernardino with a possibility of a hybrid schedule after completing 2 months.

• Expected duration 9 to 12 months.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsibilities are described below and may be dependent on the specific assignment.

• Lead in migration of Windows-based Server Applications

• Communicate project status and outcomes to project stakeholders.

• Analyze applications to determine dependencies.

• Troubleshoot, debug and update applications.

• Gather and evaluate feedback of migrated applications.

• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Qualifications

Highly Desired Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years' experience in .Net Applications.

• Experience in C#, Angular, React

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS and SSIS

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Highly Desirable:

• Experience working in the Government Sector

• Experience in IIS

• Experience in Windows Task Scheduler / Scheduled Jobs

• Experience in VB/VB.Net • Knowledge of COM+

• Experience with iOS

• Experience with Android

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
