Steampunk is seeking Program Managers who are technical, creative, hands-on experts with delivering innovative technology solutions. Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative capacity and will have experience managing teams of technical personnel to build systems anchored around our core technologies offerings (Salesforce, Databricks, Google Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau, etc). Responsibilities will include leadership of teams for the complete lifecycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deployment. This individual will ensure effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions.

Contributions

Provides daily oversight of functional and technical data analytics team personnel and ensures quality and relevant data analysis. Coordinates day-to-day project activities and client contact. Ensures personnel are qualified, eligible, and capable of performing the requirements. Advises the Government clients and other stakeholders of project status via reports, recommends improvements, and identifies and mitigates risks. Communicates with Government stakeholders and project team effectively and timely both verbally and in writing. Possesses technical qualifications and experience in contract management, financial management, personnel management & supervision, and law enforcement data analytics. Plans and manages resources, projects, and quality controls, prepares and submits invoices. Experience must demonstrate management of large teams (10+ resources) in an Agile, DevSecOps environment. Experience managing cloud (AWS, Azure, GCS) system implementations highly desired.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience executing and/or managing data analysis projects; law enforcement/drug data-related experience desired.
  • 7+ years of experience leading projects, contracts, and personnel.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in information security, preferably in conducting or managing investigations, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Federal Information Technology (IT)/security procedures and techniques.
  • 3+ years of contract management experience overseeing similar sized and functional requirements.
  • Experience using Agile and DevSecOps methods and techniques required
  • Experience with Cloud-based solution implementation preferred
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, Government security clearance minimally at the Public Trust level
  • Must meet U.S. residency requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is reuqired. A graduate degree or work experience in data science is desirable.
