Excentium, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business that provides Cyber Security Engineering, Information Assurance (IA), management, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and other IT services to government and commercial organizations.

We have an opportunity for a Program Manager supporting our Federal customer in the Falls Church, VA area.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret

CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship

LOCATION: Falls Church, VA area

Functional Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will ensure that all assigned project-based programs adhere to established schedules, specifications, and budgets. Direct and oversee the daily operations of the contract.

• Coordinates the operation of departments to confirm that assigned programs are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Takes proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
• Regularly communicates with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.
• Ensures that customers and/or clients are regularly informed of the status of the program.
• Regularly communicates with management regarding the program's status and any problems or potential problems.
• Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide the work of project staff.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
• Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Required Education/Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT project and program management required
• Bachelor's degree in related field. Eight (8) years additional applicable experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
