The Product Associate II is responsible for all aspects of certain investment products, supports Investment Consultants and Relationship Managers, and talks to clients when requested.

Duties and responsibilities include:

This Product Associate II (PA II) role focuses on collective investment vehicles and stocks along these two basic functions:

Product Management:

  • Owns one or more Products and Tools, including support and training to ICs/RMs;
  • develops related products and trainings;
  • is instrumental in facilitating sales of products with clients when invited by ICs/RMs;
  • in house go-to person for mutual funds, stocks and research support;
  • prepares and updates customer-ready and internal-use-only presentations and guides;
  • prepares customized proposals;
  • responsible for maintaining all marketing and support materials related to collective investment vehicles (CIVs) and CIV advisory products;
  • updates manuals;
  • coordinates product trainings with vendors;
Product Analysis:
  • Performs manager and asset class studies using Zephyr Style Advisor;
  • Performs manager and vendor due diligence studies;
  • Performs Bloomberg and Morningstar searches;
  • Performs studies of client holdings using Pershing’s NetExchange 360 and ReportCenter capabilities;
  • Uses Morningstar and other services to generate stock reports, create investment lists and track manager and indices performance;
  • Attends core funds conference calls, take notes and circulate internally;
  • Informs sales force on MF corporate events (dividends, mergers, split, etc.);
  • Maintains Zephyr and Morningstar databases;
Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or engineering is required.

Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or engineering, or CFP/CFA/CIMA charters (or candidates for final exam) are preferred.

Series 7 and 66 to be obtained during first 6 months

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in investment/product analysis or relevant experience in broker-dealer or asset manager.

Minimum 3 years in closely related role required.

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint
