Job Summary:

As a Production Technician, your responsibility will be to assist in the production of large diesel engines and generators that power the world. What you will do:

  • Perform duties associated with the production of Caterpillar Diesel Engines and Generators within the production assembly line.
  • Report to Section Managers and be assigned to departments within the business to meet customer and company demands
  • Align and secure engine components as directed by work instruction
  • Align and install gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components
  • Ensure that parts and materials used in the assembly process are free from quality defects
  • Verify correct alignment of engine components using engine schematics and part prints
  • Submit and assist with the resolution of Continuous Improvement Cards
  • Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
  • All other duties as assigned
What you will have:
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Must be a 2024 High School graduate
  • Willingness to learn and operate power equipment
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English
  • Willingness to work a set schedule including overtime when needed
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift at least 20lbs. and up to 80lbs.

Shift Opportunities:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM Overtime as required

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30PM-3:00AM Overtime as required
