What you will do:
- Maintain a work environment that meets facility environmental, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Select products for outbound orders.
- Receive product (bulk and packaged) for inbound orders
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate forklifts for unloading/loading trucks and chemical blending
- Perform preventative maintenance and participate in general upkeep of production equipment
- Maintain daily logs and record plant operating data
- Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers
- Collecting raw materials
- Packaging chemicals in pails, drums, and tote
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Be qualified in forklift and crane operation
- Be open to having flexible work hours including weekends and overtime,
- Maintain regular attendance requirements
- Ability to make decisions, set priorities, remain self-motivated and motivate others in the absence of direct oversight.
- Honest, trustworthy, and trusting, delivers on commitments.
- Strong sense of urgency
EDUCATION REQUREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Physical Demands
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
