Location: Eufaula, AL
Position: Production Lead
Shift: 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:

Will set up and run the lines, maintain product flow in an organized manner, and prepare department paperwork. Responsible to report and follow-up on SSOP issues in a timely manner. May lift, bend, push, pull, walk and stand as required for any position in the area because the lead fills in as necessary for breaks, emergencies, and absenteeism. May be subject to rotation and required to perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Abide by all department safety rules.

Hours:

• -Monday and Tuesday 2 pm to midnight
  
  -Friday and Saturday 6 am-4 pm
  
  -Schedule is subject to change

REQUIREMENTS:

• -Ability to Push and Pull 500+ lbs
  
  -Organization Skills
  
  -Fast Paced Environment
  
  -Ability to walk to 5+ miles a shift
  
  -Coach, teach, and train a group of 12+ contract crew members
  
  -Minor maintenance skills are a plus
  
  -Work in wet humid environment
  

Experience: Six (6) months prior poultry experience

Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements:

• The jobsite is a biosecure environment which may require showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all Safety procedures.

Rehire Consideration:

• 365 day (1 year) waiting period
• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be consider for hire.
