As a PdM II, you will work with your product management counterparts and leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and help to scope out the customer experience.  You will collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end to end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. You will write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.

As a Store Experience Product Manager you’ll join our team to support product vision and execution of store experience capabilities with a targeted focus on point of sale and innovation in checkout. You will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities and working directly with engineers to continuously improve the experience for both our external and internal customers. Primarily store leaders and associates.

The role requires a strong product mindset; a combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. We are looking for product managers that are passionate about the customer’s journey while striving to understand the complexities of system integrations and operational impacts.

Manages roadmaps for multiple features; Articulates user needs, pain points, user impact, and desired outcomes for features.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for maintaining and prioritizing a backlog of work items for multiple apps or services, including for the technology roadmap; Agile and iterative development with distributed teams – collaborate across time zones and cultures.
  • Develops and manages project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives
  • Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; Articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead business teams across functional areas – Stores, Loss Prevention, Revenue Accounting, IT Support, etc. – through business readiness and implementation activities.
  • Works with business teams to develop or modify processes, supporting post-launch change management efforts, as needed
  • Identify dependencies with other strategic initiatives Influences, other product managers, to incorporate dependent features into the roadmap.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool and methodology improvements.
  • Identifies, measures, and interprets results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities.

Who you are

  • 3-6 years of work experience required, with experience in Retail or Customer-related industries preferred
  • Experience on projects with a complex scope and with system and process implementations strongly desired, and experience developing and working with matrix organizations desired
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and strong multi-tasking ability
  • Strong oral, written, and formal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways to all levels of the organization; Ability to influence stakeholders and decision-makers to achieve the desired outcome
  • Strong strategic thinking with an ability to perform analysis at a low level of detail, including experience with strategic and quantitative analysis – ability to gather and interpret data
  • Execution and results-focused, with emphasis on on-time delivery, ability to structure complex work streams and work independently and with teams
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
