*This position can be based in El Paso, TX or Irvine, CA.

What you will be doing:

The Product Manager will support the product development process and line planning, responsible for bringing products from concept through production then to market. You will partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, quality, marketing, sales, manufacturing partners in Asia, and more. In addition to managing the new product development process. You will assist in developing a market driven multi-year product roadmap to build market share, brand equity and support our growth strategy. In addition, you will optimize the current product line to support our business objectives.


  • Defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap

  • Captures, manages, and prioritizes market/customer requirements

  • Acts as the customer advocate articulating the user's and/or buyer's needs

  • Maintains in-depth understanding of consumers, retailers and markets where we compete. Stay up to date on current and emerging trends, competitors, and consumer behavior

  • Adept at turning market and consumer insights into important product strategies in support of our overall business strategies

  • Ensure new products meet financial requirements through management of product P&Ls

  • Take ownership role with cross-functional teams, bring new products from concept through production and then to market including establishing appropriate product specifications and claims

  • Works closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met

  • Use information about buying cycles and shopper habits to manage timeline deliverables to achieve appropriate target launch date

  • Work in partnership with legal, engineering and insights to develop meaningful product claims

  • Collaborate with creative and brand marketing to develop packaging strategy and implementation

  • Build long- and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management

  • Identify the opportunity to develop a new successful product or improve an existing one, adding vital features to it.

  • Assist in developing product and programs consistent with company history and strategy of innovation, differentiation, exclusivity, and strong intellectual property.

  • Know customer needs through research and market data

  • Develop product lines and appraise new insights for market viability


Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and resilience

  • Prioritize tasks, have a high sense of urgency, and personal accountability


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years experience product management experience

  • Solid understanding of go to market and product commercialization process

  • Solid understanding of industry and end consumer

  • May require occasional business related travel as necessary.

  • Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
