Your Role & Responsibilities

  • SUMMARY: The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for HVAC's and Engine Cooling Modules in our facilities in Ohio, South Carolina, and Mexico.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes for HVAC's and Engine Cooling Modules in our facilities in Ohio, South Carolina, and Mexico. The individual will be involved in all phases of project from acquisition through start of production. Duties will cover capital project management, supplier development, capital budgets, quality and manufacturing studies
  • Managing capital projects, budgets, cell layouts, development of equipment specifications, equipment purchase and validation
  • Responsible for the research and development of future production equipment and production line launch preparation activities to support flawless program launches. Develop new equipment/process through RFQ process. Develop training package for new equipment. Reduce scrap and improve efficiency and cycle times for assigned processes
  • Supplier project management, timelines and coordinate trial runs
  • Development of equipment capacity plans and MTM analysis.
  • Assure Best practices are quickly captured and transferred to all equipment in all manufacturing sites


Your Skills & Strengths
  • Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or other 4 year related Technical Engineering Degree is Required
  • 2 or more years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Process Planning / Process Development and/or Process Improvements is Required
  • Knowledge of production and assembly operations, end of line testing, automation and machine issues and plant operations day to day basis is Required; High volume manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, process and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T
  • Basic knowledge of APQP disciplines, PFMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans, Machine Design and Man-Time-Machine studies (MTM)
  • Experience with Measurement system analysis is a plus
  • Knowledge of Controls or PLC programming is a plus
  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be able to communicate in written and verbal form within all levels of the organization
  • Travel is required for this position both domestic and international up to 40%
