Meta is looking for a Program Manager to join its Privacy Program team, lead strategic program improvements that enhance Meta's privacy outcomes. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled at leading complex cross-functional initiatives and is excited to support privacy at Meta. Successful candidates are motivated and driven self-starters who see the value of creating inclusive spaces when solving hard problems and recognize diverse perspectives. In this role, you will help identify program blockers and develop new and/or improved programs to support robust privacy assurance and centralized privacy operational programs. You will drive program improvements and new program initiatives in a cross-functional environment and effectively engage stakeholders across engineering, product, and compliance functions. You will help build and scale privacy programs and processes across the company. This Program Manager will be process-oriented and bring operational excellence to the privacy program initiatives they lead. This is a highly collaborative role; success will require strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to pivot between high-level strategic planning and operational execution. You should be a team player who is comfortable challenging our existing ways of working and bringing a fresh perspective to our approach. You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives for the Privacy Program Organization alongside key partners and stakeholders.

Privacy Program Manager, Privacy Program Initiatives Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Central Privacy Organization and cross-functional partner teams across the company to develop a comprehensive view and prioritization of the privacy work that is most important
  • Foster and cultivate deep partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy and product teams
  • Influence teams in a rapidly evolving, critical area for Meta, and drive collaboration on highly cross-functional initiatives
  • Identify, prioritize and support initiatives that leverage the collective capabilities of multiple teams, and drive coordination, clarity, and a cohesive strategy to map and unblock interdependencies across individual teams
  • Actively identify, track and drive resolution on issues and risks for the projects
  • Build, scale, and operationalize processes and programs that enhance efficiency while meeting programmatic requirements
  • Develop and implement methods and capabilities to define and measure the progress and success of programs in a standardized and consistent manner


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in business operations, project management/program management, strategy, management consulting, communications and/or operations
  • Experience navigating ambiguity
  • 3+ years experience in program management with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale programs
  • Experience working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational results
  • Project management, time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience distilling competing stakeholder needs into a set of clear strategic priorities and actionable next steps


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technology Risk Management
  • BA/BS or equivalent in Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related experience
  • Experience working directly with executives to support business decision making
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams
  • Excellent communicator with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around a common goal
  • Experience working in a technical environment influencing stakeholder and engineering teams
  • Privacy awareness or experience operating in a regulated space
