As a Customer Engagement Manager, you will help drive exciting initiatives for new and existing technologies focusing on the cloud, discovering capabilities, improvements and working closely with other teams to build customer adoption and product management for the largest retailer in the world. All of this while also managing Customer Relationships, helping to develop road maps, working with innovative tools and driving delivery and implementation of technology solutions are just a few of the exciting and challenging things you'll experience in this role. Someone who can easily adapt to asks and changes in priorities will be the most successful. You'll influence leaders, customers, and other teams by telling the story of our technology platform and how it will grow and add value to their business.

Our CEM team sits in the Program Management area of the Global Tech Platforms organization. In this role you will act as an Account Manager to the rest of the Global Tech organization. The CEM team works closely internally in the GTP organization with Product Management, Product Adoption, and Program Management. You will engage with the GTP Triads (head of product, engineering, and pmo) for Modern Data Platforms, Modern Infrastructure/Cloud Platform, and DevOps. You customers will be internal to the overall Global Tech organization and are the consumers of GTP products. These customers include US Technology, Retail and Emerging Technology, Supply Chain Technology, Technology Strategies, Data Strategy and Insights, Sam's Technology, International Technology, Enterprise Business Solutions, and Information Security.

What You'll Do...

  • Closely collaborate with the Product Management and Engineering teams and develop in-depth knowledge of the GTP product offerings and solutions
  • Manage a book of business of internal technology customers
  • Represent the voice of the customer to provide input into core product roadmaps and timelines
  • Own and maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on platform growth/expansion opportunities for customers
  • When appropriate, collaborate with product and engineering to set up platform products as per customers' requirements and help drive solutions for technical issues raised by customers
  • Successfully gauge customers' levels of engagement with the company and provide feedback to the other teams regarding product and software improvements
  • Provide insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of the platform with the aim of helping grow our customer adoption
  • Active management of client relationship, setting and managing expectations proactively and strategically
  • Understanding customer outcomes by communicating with customers, analyze customer metrics, and gather and address feedback
  • Access and analyze significant amounts of data to identify trends and/or patterns that lead to specific insights about client performance and adoption during client Business Reviews

Develop and enhance highly complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Defines and manage strategy and business objectives for highly complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products.

  • Solid understating of cloud technologies and enterprise product management
  • Ability to analyze, explain, and guide complex business and technical topics
  • 6+ years of technology customer success/account management experience preferably in Cloud Technology
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email and video conference

  • Strong salesmanship, you talk with conviction and passion and have an innate ability to convince others of your point of view
  • Hyper-organized and strong multi-tasker who can easily manage numerous projects
