Principle Mission Assurance Engineer
Job Description: Principle Mission Assurance Engineer position with experience in mechanical and machine hardware. The candidate shall have the ability to develop, evaluate and improve quality assurance processes compliant to aerospace industry standards, requirements, and expectations. This position requires the ability to clearly articulate issues to technical and non-technical professionals. A strong knowledge of discrepant material procedures (i.e., nonconformance reporting) Material Review Board (MRB), and corrective action processes is required as well as initiating and leading efforts to correct and resolve issues to conclusion. This position works independently as well as part of integrate product teams (IPT). The candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering documentation and inspect to drawings, parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions. Candidate should be fluent in use of Microsoft applications and ability to learn new computer programs/applications as warranted.
Required Qualifications: Candidate will have recent work experience in quality management systems (e.g. AS9100, ISO9001, etc.) and other related standards including AS9102 (FAIRs). They must possess excellent written and oral communications, along with interpersonal skills that aid in achieving both primary and multi-departmental goals. Candidate must have quality engineering experience of four (4) or more continuous years with demonstrate knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and testing operations. Must have the ability to work effectively with supplier personnel along with NG program, procurement, design engineering, and inspection personnel. The candidate must have proven skills in developing and deploying continuous improvement initiatives to support product assurance quality base performance goals. The candidate will be required to work closely with engineering and procurement professionals in the product assurance process to ensure the highest quality of procured hardware.
Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Education / Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 4 years related experience
2 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate will have work experience as a supplier quality engineer and experience in manufacturing and/or machining hardware environments. The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated issues both technical and procedural.
