Job Summary:
As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable business insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain BI applications using Microsoft's Power BI. Your work will empower organizations to make informed decisions by visualizing data effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Data Transformation: Take data in its raw form and derive meaningful insights. Dissect data to identify patterns, trends, and outliers using business intelligence tools.
- Data Modeling: Design, build, and map data models to process information from diverse sources.
- Interactive Visual Reports: Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
- Data Integration: Connect data sources, import data, and transform it for business intelligence purposes.
- Analytical Thinking: Translate complex data into informative reports and visuals that drive decision-making.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology.
- Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Familiarity with scripting, programming, and SQL server.
