SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, internal systems, and external databases. Other duties include: creating ad-hoc reports; filing; scheduling/organizing product evaluations; ordering samples for sales presentations; any other project needs of the Managers on the team. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to poultry operations, accounting systems, sales analysis, and a financial perspective; customer service; large corporate environment; food-service product management/marketing experience; business planning; and enhancement of computer skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Incoming junior or senior preferred. (At least one year of school remaining). Business Major preferred.

Experience: None required

Computer Skills: Expert computer skills: Excel, Familiar with Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

Communication Skills; Good verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated, self-starter.

Supervisory: None

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods' Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
