We are looking for a Pipefitter to join our growing team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To plan and Layout the routing, placement, and installation, including pipe covering, and the operation of various piping systems and equipment.

• Under general supervision work from blueprints and parts list to plan and lay out routing, placement and installation.
• Perform pipe fitter function in the systems are of the assembly department: plan, cut, bend, fit and assemble to install water, steam, condensing systems and refrigeration systems.
• Installs and modifies systems like those described above by setting up system routes and placing hangers for proper elevation. Install risers, flexible branches, expansion joints, pumps, gauges, pressure regulators, and other parts.
• Maintains cleanliness requirements for various systems throughout the fabrication and installation process.
• Help identify shortage and work with material department
• Perform work in a safe and efficient manner. Keep work area clean and orderly
• Work in other areas as needed

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, reach and carry, or otherwise move objects exerting up to 75 pounds force
• Daily walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for sustained periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
