Responsibilities

Wellstar Medical Group (WMG), is seeking a compassionate, caring Neurointensivists to join our rapidly growing, dynamic Neuro Critical Care team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia. As a physician-led company, Wellstar Medical Group believes that clinicians should have greater control over their professional lives. Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is 202 bed Level II Trauma Center that is recognized for its Primary Stroke Center designation with a 8-bed closed Neuro ICU unit. A 12-bed step down unit is being built. Our growing multidisciplinary collaborative Neuro Care Team are board-certified, and fellowship trained: 2 Neurohospitalist, 3 Neurointensivists, 2 Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeons, 1 Spine Neurosurgeon and 10 Neuro Advanced Practice Providers. We desire to facilitate quality based neurointensive care for the patients and families that we serve. Our focus is on patient driven, quality-based care and we participate in clinical research.

This is a 7-on /7 -off opportunity.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or equivalent
• Clinical residency in Neurology
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid State of Georgia Medical License
• DEA License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
