JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates critical thinking Analyzes reports and trends Makes informed decisions based on the available information Recognizes, establishes and deals with priorities promptly
  • Assures implementation of proper accreditation and regulatory procedures to be followed by the clinic; i.e. federal, state, AAAHC and other regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment throughout clinic
  • Maintains a high level of professional ethics according to Vein Clinics of America standards
  • Complies with and follows physician code of conduct
  • Maintains clear objectives and performance expectations while fostering outstanding relationships among team members
  • Maintains the “brand” for Vein Clinics of America that is nationally recognizable and associated with highly innovative, personalized care with excellent outcomes
  • Promotes continuous improvement Ensures that a high level of quality service is provided to all customers
  • Respects and maintains the confidentiality of patients and coworkers
  • Takes ownership and accountability for practice performance
  • Takes an active role in the promotion of VCA and their practice to potential referring physicians and in their surrounding community
  • Takes responsibility for their own professional development by attending in seminars, etc.
  • Develops relationships with professional affiliations and participates in networking and continuing education opportunities offered for professional growth and development

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 12 weeks of travel may be required for initial training
  • Local travel between clinics when necessary
EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • The successful candidate will hold an MD/DO degree and Board Certification in one of the following specialties: Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
  • Candidate must be licensed in the state in which position is available
EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years experience required, post residency, as a board certified physician licensed in the state in which position is available
