Responsibilities
Responsible for collecting blood samples from patients by venipuncture or capillary puncture assuming responsibility for their safety and comfort. Aquires urine specimens and throat cultures, orders tests, and verifies medical necessity on outpatients. Performs clerical and other duties as assigned. This position is a part time Day Shift , 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully completed basic phlebotomy training.
