Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Payroll Specialist for our client in Visalia!
Requirements:
- Administer and process all employee benefit payroll deductions.
- Prepare, process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees.
- Maintain database of personnel information and accurate payroll records.
- Ensure accuracy of time and attendance records and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to update and maintain employee information in the payroll system.
- Stay current with multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide appropriate payroll related information and guidance to supervisors and managers.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management review.
- Assist in year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2-3 years of previous payroll experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
