We are looking to hire a Patient Service Representative in Boise at our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic! Our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic is located at 900 North Liberty Street Suite #206 and specializes in the care of women with complicated, high-risk pregnancies. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
*** occasional travel to Nampa, Caldwell or Ontario may be required
As a Patient Service Representative in the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic, you will play a significant part in creating a great experience for patients and their families! The Patient Service Representative will work in partnership with our physicians and clinical staff to take care of patients' administrative needs. You will be responsible for checking in patients for appointments, collecting patient co-pays, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance eligibility.You will also need to be comfortable using our electronic medical record to update required information.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, detail oriented, a quick learner and has a passion for providing a high quality customer service experience to our patients. He or she will also need to utilize excellent communication skills while communicating with patients and families. The ability to provide superior customer service while utilizing independent decision making skills will be essential in this position.
General Requirements:
- Prior customer service experience
- Basic understanding of the core Microsoft Suite offerings
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in a medical setting
