Provides individual and group pastoral care support to Holocaust survivors referred by HSP offices. Services may be provided virtually or through home visits.

Interfaces with all HSP offices.

  • Maintains accurate statistical information regarding activities performed for reporting purposes and assists with compiling data for reports.
  • Assists with evaluation plan and metrics for funders.
  • Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA, DEI and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  • Represents the organization at external meetings and conferences

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus Board Certification in Chaplaincy required
  • Clinical Pastoral Education Certificationpreferred.
  • Minimum two years of direct care chaplaincy experience, preferably with older adults and their families.
  • Must be proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom and other virtual platforms to facilitate virtual sessions.
  • Problem solving abilities while multi-tasking; ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

  • Business Office Environment with phone and frequent computer use. In-home visits may be required. Travel to conferences may be required.

    To ensure the safety of our clients and staff, all new employees must be fully vaccinated prior to their start date. Upon acceptance of a conditional job offer, candidates who are not already vaccinated must obtain the first dose of the vaccine within three (3) calendar days of job offer and must obtain any subsequent doses in accordance with the vaccine protocol.
