Position Overview

This is a seasonal position with the potential to become full-time permanent based on performance. In this role, you'll assist our construction team with obtaining various parts and supplies. No worries! We'll assist with training to provide you with the skills you need to be successful. If you've got the drive, we'll help you to reach your goals.

Wage: $23+hr DOE w/ potential for overtime

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
  • Demonstrated high dependability with a track record of punctuality and reliability.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and capable of working independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform work efficiently utilizing a P.C. and windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and internet-based programs.
  • Must pass physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience with parts and inventory highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Facilitate communication between outside vendors and construction personnel.
  • Process parts requests and maintain equipment parts lists.
  • Communicate with Shop Manager on inventory levels, and upcoming parts needs.
  • Run errands for parts, supplies, etc. as needed.
  • Run forklift to unload incoming and load outgoing shipments. (Forklift training provided.)
  • Demonstrates safe work habits and takes an active role in the Company's safety program.
  • Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Regular and timely attendance.
