Department Information

IU Dining is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to provide exceptional service to IU students, faculty, staff and guests for the fall 2022 semester.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team at one of our many locations across campus and be on the cutting edge of university food service.

You will get the opportunity to learn from our certified chefs and our experienced managers, develop new skills, and build lasting relationships with IU Dining staff. Above all, you'll be able to provide high quality, delicious food and a great service experience to our guests!

Job responsibilities will vary depending on the location at which you're working, but in general, expect to be involved in preparing fresh food from scratch, working with a variety of culinary equipment, stocking product as needed, operating a Micros register and maintaining dining room sanitation and appearance. We are looking for individuals who love working on a team, have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to guest service!

EDUCATION

Required

  • General knowledge at the high school level.

Work Location

We will assign you to a location in the neighborhood of your choice based on current operational needs.

Advertised Salary

$12.00 per hour

Work Hours

Flexible work schedule.

Minimum of 10 hours per week, Monday - Sunday.

Position is capped at 29 hours per week.
