Oversee the paid social marketing Amerant Bank to elevate our storytelling to drive brand awareness and consideration with meaningful and engaging content. Duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in and customer interactions to set social strategies in motion for promotional campaigns, influencer marketing, and more. Responsible for concepting, production, and execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the media strategy, planning, execution, and analysis of paid social marketing effortsto align with business goals.
  • Own campaigns from start to finish, including planning, deployment, optimization, and reporting.
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Building relationships & driving brand awareness with local business owners, community, and sports partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights/Business Intelligence team to interpret metrics/results, and propose initiatives to improve outcomes through ongoing testing
  • Utilize analysis to proactively make program optimizations and enhancements while partnering with Marketing Operations
  • Own the continual testing of creative content, copy, audience targeting, and campaign set-up to optimize campaign performance
  • Manage relationships with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other vendor Paid Social vendors
  • Liaison with organic social teams; informing and consulting the marketing and business team of all strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functionally.
  • Adhere to rules and regulations
Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Literature, Communications

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

5+ years of Social Media experience

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively with coworkers at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to contribute to innovation and creative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, copywriting, editing, self-motivated.
  • Strong leadership skills, Team-Oriented, Goal-Oriented, Strong Attention to Detail, strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Project management.
  • Strong in use of presentation tools.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, and in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience managing social handles for a brand and/or personal handles with a proven track record of growing audience size
