POSITION SUMMARY:

To achieve sales goals for all corporate brands. To sell products, packages, promotional and marketing programs and any other special activities developed by the Company including new business and merchandising equipment, increasing sales volume and using tools such as first focus, special cold bottle pricing programming, merchandising equipment, racks, etc. In addition, developing growth strategies and plans. Managing and retaining relationships with new and current customers. Employees in these positions work in the field and visit accounts and prospective accounts directly to meet with customers.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibility of this position to make direct sales to customers and prospective customers at their business locations. While specific duties may vary by customer, employees are expected to perform the following duties in connection with their primary responsibility of outside sales:

  • Meet directly with responsible customer employees at their business locations to drive outside sales revenue and growth and increase distribution of National Brands in assigned area.
  • Develop assigned sales area by constantly prospecting for new accounts through outside sales calls.
  • Develop a sales plan for each outside sales call to reach volume and distribution goals, as defined by the Company's objectives and meeting quarterly targets.
  • Arranging business development meetings with prospective Independent Retail Customers / Owners.
  • Meeting sales call (to store managers/owners)targets: 15 - 20 Accounts visit per day /day; 5 days/week - Weekly Recap.
  • Securing and maintaining accurate inventory of Products and display equipment.
  • Securing permanent Space display equipment locations in Independent retailers.
  • Coordination of Resetting Cold Bottle Initiatives and execution of Programs that are listed
  • Provide efficient service and merchandising to all accounts that will enhance the image of all corporate brands with consumers and retail customers.
  • Maintain or increase shelf facings for all brand and products according to company standards.
  • Solicit and maintain secondary displays or wings for all promotional activity.
  • Insure distribution of all authorized product on every visit to your accounts.
  • Communicate problems and competitive activity on your route to immediate supervisor.
  • Follow Company guidelines or policies acting immediately when expected on product complaints or major recall issues.
  • Notify vending department of anticipated or known customer closings in ample time to retrieve equipment.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with all key personnel in your accounts, including Store Managers, Asst. Manager, Grocery Managers and Receivers.
  • Properly complete all new account forms and submit daily with appropriate state tax exempt forms. Maintain accurate sales book entries, submit all required paperwork in a timely manner and properly completed.
  • Maintain all assigned company property and/or equipment in a clean condition. Report any malfunctions immediately.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience is required; and two years successful sales and/or customer contact experience.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and must be able to present and communicate in both written and verbal forms.
  • Must be able to handle demands, targets and guidelines and situations.
  • Ability to work independently manage own time and maintain consistent results towards common goal.
  • Must be able to be resilient, creative, consistent dependable and efficient.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills including the use or Power-Point and Excel Spreadsheets.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Potential earning is from $58,700.00 to $86,900.00 annually
