WHAT YOU WILL DO AT SAPUTO

1. Have a working knowledge of Safety Methods and Procedures. (i.e., proper lifting techniques, proper knife handling techniques, MSDS, wearing personal protective equipment, etc..) and works safely at all times.
2. Assures the machines are run with all safety requirements and precautions.
3. Assures the machines are running optimally, meeting established efficiency goals.
4. Ensures a quality product is produced to meet customer specifications.
5. Sets up machines correctly and efficiently to provide specifications.
6. Sets up the code dater correctly and efficiently to provide the package with a correct and legible code date on every package.
7. Responsible for cheese leveling and weight adjustments.
8. Neatly, accurately and legibly maintains all records and documentation.
9. Minimizes waste of supplies and cheese.

WHO IS RIGHT FOR THE ROLE

1. Minimum of a High School degree or equivalent required.
2. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience as an operator demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills with team members and all necessary departments.
4. Able to understand production schedules.
5. Able to understand and use Product Specifications.
6. Experience in food production environment preferred, but not required.
7. Good decision making and problem-solving abilities.
8. Attention to detail.
9. Able to follow instructions.
10. Able to read, write legibly, understand and communicate the English language.
