How you will make contributions that matter...

  • Inspection of delivery milktruck/tanker
  • Collect raw milk sample and perform testing & observations, such as: physical testing, odor, flavor, antibiotic content, oil and fat specifications. Promptly report any out of specifications or deviations to the department supervisor.
  • Must satisfy all state Appendix N certification requirements.
  • Must have a valid sampler/weigher certification.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP)in detail without deviation.
  • Safely hook-up delivery truck/tankertomilk receiving equipment & ensure tanker is properly vented.
  • Follow proper truck sealing protocol.
  • Pumpraw milkinto specified silos or tanks.
  • Followsequence when filling and emptying silos and tanks.
  • Cleandelivery truck/tanker,plant silos,tanks, lines, pumps, etc.
  • Perform equipment adjustments.
  • Safely operate all lift truck equipment.
  • Accurately and neatly complete records, data entries and documentation.
  • Perform all department environmental controls.
  • Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Follow all establishedgood manufacturing practicesand food safety requirements.
  • Ensure effective coordination and cooperation with other departments.
  • Perform good housekeeping within established guidelines.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations.
  • Adhere to thecompany code of ethics and actively respect company values.
  • Work professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
  • Other duties as required by management.

You are best suited for the role if you...
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Will need to pass/obtain Sampler/Weigher State license.
  • Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.
  • A working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, QA/QC, CQP, HACCP, SOP,5S, GMP, etc.).
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
  • Successful completion of drug screen andbackground check.
