As part of the US Customer Engagement team within AstraZeneca's Commercial Digital Health Department, the Omnichannel Strategy Director will be responsible for leading a team of Omnichannel Strategists responsible for the strategic design, delivery, and analysis of Omnichannel customer experiences for brands across an assigned therapeutic area.

The Omnichannel Strategy Director will serve as a Therapeutic Area (TA) Lead, providing thought leadership and innovation across the end-to-end customer experience; bringing new ideas, experiences, and best practices to help all brands across the TA to solve business challenges and deliver more impactful customer experiences. The Omnichannel Strategy Director will partner with key stakeholders within various internal departments and external agency and industry partners to identify and help shape new capabilities to support the brands in the evolution of the Omnichannel capability and customer experience.

This role is HYBRID ONSITE at our Wilmington, DE corporate offices. AstraZeneca's Wilmington campus is the home of our North America Biopharmaceutical Business. It's where several business functions integral to our US business are based and where AZ colleagues innovate for a higher purpose. Located near Philadelphia, our newly redesigned campus offers a positive and broad environment and plenty of on-site perks. Job Requirements:

  • Lead the US Omnichannel Strategists in assigned Therapeutic Areas to ensure the Brands' success through continually growing their Omnichannel knowledge, impact and leadership as a partner with Brand teams.
  • Develop business relationships with AZ Marketing and Business Leaders in targeted therapeutic areas to champion and accelerate adoption of Omnichannel capabilities
  • Partner with Engagement Leads, Planning and Content Strategy to leverage all available omnichannel capabilities to therapeutic areas including facilitating programs to ensure understanding of marketers and other cross-functional teams on Omnichannel marketing opportunities.
  • Promote a focus on measuring and sharing results for omnichannel efforts to grow knowledge and impact across all therapeutic areas and markets
  • Contribute to and influence significant regional and/or cross-therapy opportunities and projects where omnichannel capabilities are a meaningful component for the delivery of business outcomes.
  • Responsible for driving strong working relationships between Omnichannel Strategists and cross-functional operational partners to align and document ways-of-working to optimally embed omnichannel capabilities.
  • Represent therapeutic areas efforts to continuously evaluate the alignment and quality of omnichannel delivered services, advance change management programs and define continuous improvement projects to advance the omnichannel capability.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 plus years of related experience or Advanced Degree with 5 plus years of related experience
  • 2 plus years of people management
  • Proven track record in delivering marketing/media projects
  • Customer journey and relationship management
  • Strategic analysis/insight
  • Demonstrated track record as an outstanding problem-solver and strategic thinker

Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrated leadership and coordination across teams to deliver strategic objectives
  • Experience in successfully leading innovative projects
  • Cross functional experience with healthcare or other regulated industry
  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Brand and Functional Area Relationship Management experience
  • Experience working with agile delivery teams
