JOB SUMMARY:

An Offline Repairer repairs cabinets with quality and material issues to pass inspection. They communicate with many parties to investigate and resolve quality and/or material issues.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Use air, power & hand tools to install missing components on/in cabinets
* Communicate with inspector, leads & others to address quality issues
* Check for quality standards, make judgments, prioritize various tasks & stay organized
* Use multiple computer programs for various aspects of this position
* Read & interpret production labels
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping for yourself and your team
* Other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills/Abilities:


* Ability to identify wood species, finishes, cabinet types, color variances, etc.
* Ability to use basic math concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Ability to read and use a tape measurer



Required Education & Experience:


* High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred



Required Physical Ability:


* Ability to read print on a computer screen
* Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling & pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.



WORKING CONDITIONS:


* Working in an indoor environment with excessive hot, humid, and cold temperatures.
* Protective safety gear could be required including safety glasses, gloves, and other.
* The noise level is usually moderate to high.
* Occasional overtime and weekend work, required.
