Requirements:

  • Responsible for managing the loan and deposit pipeline to include updating the internal contact management system, gathering documents and communicating with Home and Consumer Finance and Retail Branches from origination to closing.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge in order to quality review applications for accuracy.
  • Works with CSC management to ensure training deficiencies for customer service representatives are addressed on incomplete/inaccurate applications.
  • Follow up calls to customers, branch and loan officers on loan status. Conducting high level conversations with customers regarding loan requirements and options requiring a strong knowledge of loan products. Understand Loan to Value; conduct conversations about terms that can change a decision.
  • Enters new applications taken in the Customer Service Center using an internal contact management system and submits loan applications though the loan origination system and deposit applications through ChexSystems.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner regarding deposit and loan applications throughout the process from application to close
  • Collect and or issue disclosures at the appropriate time during the deposit and loan application process.
  • Maintain current disclosure supply.
  • Participates in the tracking and updating of all loans and deposits, verifying reports and making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 5 years of banking experience in a customer service environment
  • Work independently and possess superior decision making skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong sales and customer service skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of deposit and loan products
  • Strong knowledge of loan regulatory environment, NMLS registered
  • Projects a customer friendly image over the telephone. Must be self-motivated.
  • Ensures effective communication with the customer by utilizing superior verbal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office a definite plus
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Associate's Degree or related knowledge/skills base gained through experience preferred
