POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee design, configuration, and troubleshooting of network and systems architecture. Define, develop and support flexible and reliable enterprise-wide network and systems solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage all aspects of the LAN/WAN architecture.
• Evaluate, design, and implement new network and systems technologies.
• Identify, analyze and recommend vendors for IT related products and services.
• Participate in network and systems audits. Develop audit responses and confirm effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Perform cloud architecture and network design.
• Provide Level 3 and above network support for all cloud and LAN/WAN network architecture.
• Design and implement network logging and reporting infrastructure.
• Participate in technology evaluations in the network environment.
• Identify, recommend and implement new technologies that can be delivered without negatively impacting customers.
• Develop, implement and maintain an Operations Service Design framework.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed to maintain the production environment.
• Work with other IT members to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor�s degree in Computer-related field with a minimum 5 years of systems administration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of current operating software, computer imaging technology, LAN technologies and WAN technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of standard operational concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills required to communicate with employees and vendors.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud network architecture.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products.
