TICE has a new and exciting career opportunity for a NATIONAL SALES MANAGER to join our team based in Lexington, KY!

This mid-management position requires an energetic and enthusiastic personality whose focus is to pursue the sale of products to independent, regional, and national accounts, while also presenting new business opportunities to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively pursue new business through cold calling, networking, internal/external leads, and innovative sales strategies
  • Consistently following up on leads and closing new account business
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Present new business opportunities to existing customers
  • Maintain positive customer relations through customer visits
  • Managing sales goals, providing regular reports on progress and client contact
  • Undergoing extensive training with existing team to learn the business and product offerings
  • Participating in team initiatives
  • Participate in trade shows
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or marketing related field
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Experience with big-box or indirect sales preferred
  • Some travel required, up to 50%
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals.
  • Plan decisions and practice good judgment.
  • Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
  • Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member.
  • Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.
  • Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts.
  • Communicate excellently in verbal and in writing with all kinds of people.
