An MRI Technologist is being sought after to join a dedicated and technologically advanced radiology department in a reputable medical center.
The medical center is Joint Commission accredited, 185 beds, and a level two critical access hospital. With mentorship, leadership opportunities, continued training regularly offered, the medical center is a great facility to be a part of, and this is a rare opportunity. The radiology department has supervisors, managers, and directors for clear reporting structure and organization. The MRI Technologist will collaborate with a team of other MRI Technologists, Interventional Radiogist Technologists, and radiology leadership professionals.
The MRI Technologist will navigate the PACS system throughout this position. The MRI Technologist will determine the correct exposure while preparing and positioning patients for a variety of diagnostic x-ray procedures, fluoroscopy examinations, and MRI examinations. Not only will the MRI Technologist operate MRI scanning equipment, but the MRI Technologist may operate CT scanning equipment, do routine mammograms, and provide routine assistance during fluoroscopy examinations. The MRI Technologist’s daily routine will change based on the patients coming in and their needs.
