Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Employees in this job direct the following activities designated in the Motor Pool Area. Responsibilities include overseeing the preparation, inspection, and dispatch of motorized transportation equipment in the Motor Pool Area. Duties include inspecting and checking equipment in/out to authorized users, maintain inspection and records logs, post service requests as needed for faulty equipment using specialized software, proper notification of reported or observed accidents and damages. Coordinate repair work with GSE Mechanics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work all shifts, all days including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Work outside in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Successful completion of training course
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with diesel, gas and electric vehicles
  • Familiarity with the Airport Operations Area

Work Environment:
  • Use of computers and other office equipment
  • Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
  • All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
  • Handle objects up to 70 pounds
