Member Services Intern

About the Position

The Member Services Intern will assist both the Experience Center and Digital Banking Departments with Civic related project implementation. This position will involve participating in team meetings and projects, as well as, gaining exposure to the multiple systems that will come into play with Civic to include online account opening, online and mobile banking, telephony, core banking, lending originations and other systems.

Normal Day-to-Day Work

  1. Assist in the process design and documentation as needed for new technology.
  2. Execute test scripts for the Civic related systems.
  3. Provide support in functional areas of operations and member services.
  4. Provide quality service to members, potential members and the community while achieving established qualitative and quantitative service level metrics.


Job Qualifications

Here are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.
  1. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Customer Service, or related field of study
  2. Desire to provide first in class customer service to Civic Federal Credit Union members
  3. Comfortable using various technology platforms.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  5. Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
  6. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).
  7. Travel required sometimes


This is a paid internship, running May 17 - August 6. All candidates must be able to work on site in Raleigh, NC.
