Our client, a professional scientific association located in Washington, DC is seeking a temporary to hire Member Services Coordinate to join their team!

About You:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1+ years of customer service or membership experience is required.
• Experience with a membership database is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong detail orientation, time management, and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Job:

• Provide excellent customer service to members and assist with inquiries via email, live chat, and inbound/outbound phone calls.
• Assist members with troubleshooting technical member service issues.
• Input all customer and member subscriptions and payments into database.
• Represent organization at events as needed.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

This is a great opportunity that pays $16/hour during the temporary period and would convert to a permanent salary range of $43K-$45K, depending on experience. This is an excellent role for someone that has superb customer service experience and is looking to move into a professional office environment.
