Responsibilities

Wellstar Paulding Nursing Home Business Office - We are seeking a Medicare/Medicaid Specialist to join our Team.

This position reports to the Manager of the Nursing Home Business Office and is responsible for first time filing of Medicare, Medicaid and non-government claims, requires ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members and/or insurance companies, and various department representatives within the facility, prepare and keep accurate accounting records and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

This is a Full-Time Day shift position.

Required Minimum Education

• High School Diploma.

Required Minimum Experience

• Must have hospital Medicare or Medicaid billing experience.

Required Minimum Skills

• Must have strong computer skills and working knowledge of STAR, AHT, Excel, Word, The Florida Share (CICS), ACS.
• Must be familiar with Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Must be able to display a positive attitude (see WellStar's \"Standards of Gold\").
• Must be able to multitask and work well alone or in teams.
