Apply now for the position of Medical Sciences Partner and you will facilitate Clinical and Technical Consultations for internal Siemens employees and external customers.

Your role:

  • Your consultations will be in person or remote and will generally fall into one of the following categories: customer call, customer visit, email, field presentation, internal call, internal meeting, or webinar. The topics you will cover include both clinical and technical utility of chemistry and immunoassays.
  • You will perform content review and development for broader messaging and education to both the internal Siemens and customers in the field.
  • You will be a vital part of planning, creation, and maintaining all clinical collateral.
  • You will build expertise to maintain the appropriate knowledge base to support internal and external consultative engagements.
  • You will engage in continuous professional development to build expertise in relevant topics through literature review and attending educational seminars.

Your expertise:

  • You are a PhD level clinical laboratorian with a good understanding of standard laboratory practices, clinical utility of diagnostic laboratory testing in chemistry and immunoassay.
  • You are flexible and willing to travel up to 50%
  • You have very good presentation skills with the ability to communicate to audiences of different educational levels.
  • You are proactive with critical thinking skills to help improve education and clinical processes.
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to discuss complex subjects in a simplistic manner.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with demonstrated clinical expertise and technical responsibilities, a PhD in basic or health sciences (clinical chemistry, medical technology, clinical laboratory science)

The pay range for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (10%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
