Job Summary

This important role in the operations delivery chain plays several parts. Some of the primary responsibilities include accurate selecting the orthopedic medical device inventory requested by our clients, to meticulously pack the items, and to prepare the package for direct shipment, or to seamlessly hand off the package to our Delivery driver for in-person delivery.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs work functions to assist department management in accomplishing daily goals, including but not limited to, the picking of Finished Goods, packing of Finished Goods, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Must maintain good housekeeping in all warehouse areas. Maintaining a clean, orderly (5S), and safe work environment, and meeting daily shipping requirements, by properly following department OP's and company guidelines.
  • Must be able to understand and perform the functions and procedures pertaining to the efficient operation of warehousing.
  • Must be willing to learn our proprietary software program.
  • Must be able to train and direct other personnel in their duties, both clerical and physical.
  • Must be excellent at multi-tasking and working under pressure, and and sometimes stressful situations to meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible with role and helping teammates when needed
  • Willing to participate in our on-call weekends.
  • This position is on their feet most of the day, and must be able to lift up to 50# packages.
Expected Areas of Competence
  • Understand principles of stock rotation, location and arrangement of materials for efficient handling.
  • Must have an awareness of storage conditions necessary to protect material from damage or deterioration.
Education/Experience Requirements

High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or equivalent experience required.
