Ultimate Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a Full-Time, IN OFFICE, Medical Charge Entry Representative opportunity in Raleigh (27612)!

Hours will be Monday-Friday - 7:30am-4pm OR 8am-4:30pm!

Pay will be $17-$22/hr DOE

Job information:

The Charge Entry Specialist performs necessary activities to accommodate timely, efficient, and accurate processing of patient charges and assists patients with minor billing issues. Responsible for the processing and completion of managed care referrals which include, but not limited to authorizations/pre-certifications, documenting benefits, and patient scheduling activities.

On an average day, you will:

- Perform tasks in accordance to company/departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.

- Post medical practitioner and laboratory charges and payments accurately into PM system.

- Verify if coding is correct and queries the physicians for clarification.

- Reconcile charges and payments against PM audit reports and posts them timely for claim submission.

- Accurately document data in the practice management software.

- Attend all departmental and practice/team meetings and coordinates/communicates procedure changes with clinical, front office, and accounts receivable staff.

- Provide support to other staff in department as needed.

Must have:

- At LEAST 2 years of medical office experience

- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, HCPCs, and ICD codes.

- Customer service concepts and techniques
