Mechanical-Thermal Design Engineer If you are a Mechanical-Thermal Design Engineer with experience, please read on!
What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for complete designs from end to end. Your solid working knowledge of manufacturing methods (machining, extrusion, casting, skiving, soldered mechanical assemblies, etc.) as well as experience with the function and application of heat pipes and vapor chambers, will enable your designs to meet demanding Customer requirements with cost-effective designs.

" Use your technical engineering and manufacturing design skills to conceptualize and design thermal solutions in response to Customer requirements. Our goal is to be the go-to source for solutions of our Customers most challenging thermal problems.
" Be innovative, creative, and always open to evaluating new concepts and ideas.
" Using sound principles of engineering, analyze and/or simulate your designs as needed.
" Produce and review documentation for our products.
" Work with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance at our US manufacturing facility as well as our Taiwan manufacturing division to produce the highest quality cost- effective products possible.
" Support Sales and Marketing at Customer visits.
" Support Customers with reliable information on the use, benefits and limitations of two-phase designs as related to their specific application.
" Work closely with Manufacturing/Process Engineering
" Apply both experimental research and fundamental engineering principles to constantly improve products and processes.
What You Need for this Position " BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
" 5+ years direct experience in the design of cooling systems for electronic products. This experience may be in the area of system-level thermal design or in the design and manufacture of thermal control components such as heat sinks, cold plates, etc. Recent graduates without experience may submit an application for the file but will not be considered for this particular opening.
" Working knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
" Simulation experience using ICEPAK (preferred), FloTHERM or other CFD based tool is a plus.
" Solid working knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing tolerances.
" Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, extrusion, investment and die casting, soldering, etc.
" Working knowledge of thermal testing.
