Mechanical Technician I

** Excellent Total Compensation Package **

• Wages start at $21.84.
• Monday through Friday. Core hours are 7am - 3:30pm with overtime before or following those hours.Currently working 6am - 4:30pm.
• All offers of employment are contingent on successfully passing a background screen, physical and drug test

Position Responsibilities:

• We will train you and provide all necessary tools to become proficient in the job.
• Work independently to diagnose and repair tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble tools correctly in a timely manner
• Test incoming repairs to specification and know how to use test equipment.
• Perform data entry
• Equipment / Tools used includes but not limited to: powered and non-powered hand tools, computer, test equipment, soldering, and dip tanks.
• Contribute to our industry-leading safety record.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years related experience
• Desired to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, push and slide packages typically weighing up to 40 lbs.; team lifting required at 50 lbs.
• Ability to work full-time and over-time as needed.
• Basic math aptitude
• Ability to read, write, hear and speak in English.
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable and flexible
• Preferred experience with small tool repair.
