Our North American Process & Environmental group is searching for a Mechanical Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX. Our Mechanical Technicians will install wiring, conduit and tubing for the production of HORIBA products.

Essential Job Functions:

• Works from detailed assembly drawings and specifications; plans layouts using flowcharts; identifies and obtains necessary parts and components from stockroom.
• Installs mechanical components; forms and connects stainless steel tubing using hand and bench power tools, torsion wrenches, forming jigs and assembly fixtures.
• Performs leak checks and other necessary tests.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Ability to accurately interpret assembly drawings/specifications and flow diagrams in order to install tubing and other mechanical components.
• Ability to perform and interpret results of leak tests.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems in the assembly process
• Able to regularly lift 10-15 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
