Description:
Mechanical Project Manager:

1.Mechanical engineer or designer with 3+ years of experience in design and project management of acute care hospital and associated facilities. Experience with industrial process engineering would be an additional plus.

2.Experience using AutoCad is required.

3.Extensive knowledge in the design and construction of hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, and steam); air handling systems; and building automation systems is required. We will not consider candidates if they do not have significant/extensive experience in each of these areas.

4.This position will be primarily associated with managing project teams; providing guidance and being a mentor to engineers of lesser experience; meeting and communicating with clients; providing quality control reviews of drawings; conducting site inspections; and editing book specifications. The most prominent trait requirement is that this person must be good at and enjoy teaching and mentoring others. This person must also be in good enough physical condition to perform site inspections when needed. Overnight travel is very minimal.
