HotFoot Recruiters has partnered with a well-established Distributor in need of Mechanical Maintenance Technicians in the Phoenix, AZ area.

The Mechanical Maintenance Technicians is responsible for keeping the facility in good working order by troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. The mechanic will also be responsible for keeping the facility equipment in good working order by conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance. The mechanic will be expected to assist with facility cleaning whenever a resulting mess is attributable to the work they performed and completed. Maintaining the maintenance shop 5S is also an expectation on a daily basis.

Pay: $25.00 DOE

Shift: Must be able to work between 10am-8:30pm Monday-Thursday

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience operating PLC/SCADA systems
• Experience operating and/or maintaining automated making and filling equipment
• Experience with repairing pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, gear boxes, valve replacements, plumping/piping, etc.
• Able to read blueprints
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in fast paced automated production and/or maintenance role
• Supports Engineering Staff in identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing operations through collection and evaluation of data. Develops and tests theories associated with these opportunities. Implements and evaluates the results of these efforts.
• Evaluates new equipment and processes for applicability within operations.
• Maintains accurate records (work logs, PM logs, and all safety and compliance reports: Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, Hot Work)
• Understands, follows, and enforces all Government Safety protocols and procedures
