What We're Looking For: 

Barge is currently seeking to fill oneMechanical Engineer internship position in the Facilities business unit.The ideal candidate will have an interest in mechanical engineering in relationto facility design (piping, plumbing, HVAC, etc). This position will be locatedin our Knoxville, TN office.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Assisting with project tasks such as research, productions of plans and specifications
  • Assisting in preparation or modification of reports, cost estimates, plans, and permits
  • Providing support to the landscape architecture production team
  • Other administrative support items 
 Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university or recently graduated
  • Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship
  • Must be a Junior, Senior, or new graduate
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred
