Location: Ogden, UT
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Materials Manger in Utah.
Responsibilities:
Manage a department of up to 10 team members or more, including training and enforcement of company policy and procedures. Develop a capable inventory control team, conduct root cause analysis and develop appropriate action plans. Ensure cycle counts and physical inventory counts are conducted and recording accurately.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (logistics or related field preferred) Five years' progressive experience in receiving/supply chain/inventory/purchasing Three to five years of supervisor/manager experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing and SQF or BRC experience a plus. Prior experience in food manufacturing and SQF or BRC experience a plus. Must be able to understand and follow work instructions in English. Continuous Improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis)
