Williams Form Engineering has an opening in their Collegeville, PA manufacturing facility for a Material Handler. This is a first shift opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality of completed items within department
• Understand and process all electronic transactions and paperwork
• Assist in moving bundles to appropriate machines
• Organize bar racks
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Perform cycle counts as needed

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate crane and other necessary equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to effectively communicate information to supervisor and/or other employees
• Must be self-directed and able to multi-task effectively
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted required
• Able to stand, walk, bend and twist for at least seven hours per day
• US Citizen or Green Card holder

Working Conditions

Working Conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment, including mechanical noise and fluctuating temperatures. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product. Machinery operations require the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
